Thanks Rob(and your daughter!) for such an enlightening listen. It brought back memories of your excellent programme on BBC Radio 3 called CD Masters that you did with Jonathan Swain. So much in the programmes influenced my own record collecting at the time especially many historical recordings and interpretations. I hardly missed listening to any of them! It was great speaking to you also at the Royal Festival Hall when some of your programmes were broadcast from there. It was your enthusiasm which especially comes over to all.
With best wishes

Only just picked this up Dennis. Delighted that you enjoyed the slot with Daughter Vix and that you recall – and enjoyed – CD Masters. Definitely a golden age for me. Best wishes, Rob.
Thank you for this Rob, very much appreciated. Rob have you read any of Jan Swafford’s works? Would you recommend any of his books? Thank you in advance!

I haven’t as yet Russell but will make it my business to search something out. In time I hope to get back to you. Best, Rob.
